How can I have a painting commissioned?
Contact me via the contact form. We will discuss your wishes and ideas, so that I can create a unique custom work of art. Please note that commissioned work does not fall under the right of withdrawal.
How long does it take to make a custom artwork?
The time it takes to make a portrait depends on the size, references (photos) and complexity of the work. On average, the process takes 2 to 4 weeks from the moment we agree on the design or photos to be used. Please also allow a few extra days for varnishing and framing the portrait.
What are the prices and sizes for portraits?
I offer artwork in different sizes. The average artwork on this site is 80x100 cm for example. Of course I can also create larger or smaller sizes, everything can be made to measure.

Small (40x50 cm): starting at €500 (including VAT)

Medium (70x100 cm): starting at €1200 (including VAT)

Large(80x100 cm): starting at €1500 (including VAT)
Other sizes are possible upon request. Please contact me to discuss your ideal size and price .
To give you a better idea of the size of a painting of, for example, 100 x 80 cm (or 80 x 100 cm), below you will find two images: a 100 x 80 cm painting in an interior and an image of a person next to a 100 x 80 cm painting.
What if I am not satisfied with the end result?
I work closely with you throughout the process to ensure you are happy with the end result. Any defects should be reported within a reasonable time for proper handling.
How can I pay?
If you purchase an already painted artwork, you can make the payment immediately. For a custom order, a 50% deposit is required upon confirmation. The remaining amount is paid upon completion of the portrait.
Framing and Shipping
Can my work be framed?
Currently, the artworks on this site are not framed, unless otherwise stated. Framing is possible. I can send the artworks to an external framer. Please contact me to include the cost of framing in your order.
How will my new artwork be shipped?
All artworks are shipped with a track and trace service. Standard delivery time within the Netherlands is 7 days. International shipping may take longer, with delivery times up to four weeks, depending on the final destination. Upon appointment, you can also pick up your new artwork(s) for free at my studio in The Hague, The Netherlands.
